Oh, man. Am I here again? No, really? HERE? At 40 weeks? I’ve hit my due date three times now? YEP.
I think deep down I had hoped this baby might come a bit early. Not too early, but maybe a couple of days? A week even? That sounded kind of nice. But, nope. I’m 40 weeks pregnant for a third time and thankful for all of the healthy, full-term things that means but this isn’t like The Most Comfortable I’ve Ever Been! or anything flowery like that. No, I’d guess these last days of pregnancy are not anyone’s favorite.
I wish I had more of an update to record in this online baby book of mine, but there’s really no update. I’ve had some contractions. I’m not miserable (am still doing laundry and hauling it upstairs) but I’d say I’m getting closer to that point. I also have a head cold, which seems really unfair.
So, that’s it. We’re waiting.

First of all, you look amazing! Not “amazing for being 40 weeks pregnant”, just amazing!! You wear pregnancy really well.
I won’t say “you’re almost there!” or anything like that because I’d probably want to rip someone’s head off for suggesting that right now, I can’t even imagine. I will say that I hope Third Baby comes very soon, so we can “meet” him and you can not be pregnant anymore!

You are amazing! At 40 weeks I was cranky, miserable, and called my mom long distance crying (I was 29 years old). Braxton Hicks contractions were pushing my limits. I was just DONE. The good news is, the babies that lay their heads on their pillows at night in your house pretty much sleep all night long. I’m praying for a safe and quick delivery!

Yeah, you are pretty much the perfect pregnant person.
Hoping you get through the remainder of this pregnancy feeling relatively comfortable. And that the cold disappears QUICKLY.
I loved the Roomba review, also – I really would like me a Roomba. It sounds kind of wonderful.
